Conversion into a single-family house of the former “LA SALITA” bar.

The intervention takes place in the Modernist building by Rafael González Villar (1924), with the highest level of heritage protection.

The proportions of the ground-floor level—with its nearly 4 metres of height—suggest a single, unified space, a “grand room” in the maniera of Italian palazzi, offering uninterrupted access to light, ventilation, and spaciousness.

Given its prominence within the urban fabric, particular care is taken with the street-facing joinery. Building on its original layout and the white-painted chestnut timber, it is adapted to meet current technical requirements: operable windows, thermal-break profiles, and supply and extract air through the upper panel.
